I passed my grade 08 exam.. 111/150... soooo happy now!!! actually yst result already out... but i donno out... so my journey for classical music actually stop yst... it may start again since i may need to take grade 8 theory... but i am so happy now... practical is super hard for grade 8!! i played wrongly for 2 songs... still can pass... omg! and i actually did better than grade 6... must be the feelings bah... grade 6 i played like robot.. not as much mistake as grade 8... but grade 8 i played with more feelings and i scored better!!! 10/10/11 the day i passed grade 8!!! =D

Piano grade 08 exam today... i played even worse than grade 6... what am i doing? for the past few months, all the sacrifices i made just for 20min of exam today.... and i totally didnt perform well.... nervous??? lack of confidence??? mind blank??? arghhh!! frustrated and at the same demoralised... i don understand y i cant play it... its gonna take a while for me to recover from this... i hope tml will be better... i need to chiong for my studies le... these few days didnt study at all... jialat liao.....no mood now... It has been a long time since i am so angry of myself... what is happening to me?? y cant i accept this failure??? I really really hope miracle will happen... don wanna take it again........... :(

About 4 months have passed since i stopped my work, what have i achieved? When i was working, one of my fren chose not to work but to study first before school start.. he said he need to do well in his studies becos he chose not to work.. i kinda understand that feeling now, that pressure for not working... i think my pressure is nothing less than his.. I need to do well for my piano becos i chose not to work.. i cannot afford to fail becos i need to focus on my uni after sch start... However, my teacher said i should register for the exam in feb again... but the registration date is sept to oct and i donno my result for sept exam will be out or not by then... my teacher encourage me to just register without knowing the result... lol.. i am not that rich lah... but she seems to know that i have a high chance of failing.. i know that too actually.. but can't i hope for a miracle to happen????

Now let's start blogging about my early birthday party... actually is a private event lah... but since i think only my close frens will view this blog so it should be safe to blog here..

7th may, the day which jolin choose to have her concert in sg, the GE day and finally, my early birthday celebration. I invited only close close frens... cos my family is super big and my function room is quite small! haha!! I prepared the songs for the party becos i wish to close the tv so that people wont be distracted by the GE news. But my plan failed at ard 8+ pm cos my cousin go switch on the tv... haha... but its ok, everyone happy jiu hao! =D I hope that i do not left out any of my frens who came... haha... hope they have enjoyed themselves too! =D ok, i think picture speaks a thousand words... so let the picture do the talking bah..

It has been a while since i last wrote on my blog...

Let's start with felicia's 21st birthday celebration on 28th april 2011... I was asked to be her pianist for that day but i was simply not confident enough and thus, rejected her.. haha quite sorry for that... actually, before that, i was asked by my da sao to do a part time job for an exhibition for yamaha.. i have to play the piano and promote the piano if someone wants to buy them... it looks simple but once again, i am not confident enough... suan le.. side-track liao.. haha i was supposed to blog about cia's birthday... ok.. so that day, i went earlier to help her to decorate the place even though i am bad at decorating! haha!!! Then, more people came and photography session starts soon... with our cap/hat! haha the theme of the party is cap/hat and the forfeit is wear party hat which is not really a forfeit for that charlie becos he is wearing the hat for the whole time. HAHA! ok then when everything is ending, the surprise for kevin came.. I tried to distract kevin with my iphone :) while the rest go prepare the cake for him! =D hehe! hope both of them enjoy on that day! :)

Went to celebrate angila's 21st birthday party last sat!! it was fun but tired too... haha... but i guess angila is the most tired one bah!! it was quite a grand event with lots of ppl... i wonder what about mine?? haha... i don feel like planning anything for my birthday... just a buffet will do and people just come and chit-chat... haha!!!

Didnt touch piano for two days and i forget some of the parts of my exam pieces.. Sometimes i really think that i do not have talent for this... if not for the promise i made six years ago and the encouragement of my friends, i wouldnt have last so long...Normally, my mum will say studies first, piano second... but just now, she says, 'ur priority now is piano exam and not job..' actually, i feel like doing a job or rather it may be becos i think this will allow me to escape from piano... i talk like piano is a devil to me and i have to run away from it... haha... but deep inside, i know i still love piano, i still love pop music, i still love my fingers playing on the piano... my mum says that i can play as much pop music as i want when i pass my grade 8 but i reply her that i am afraid that i may fail despite all the effort i put everyday and i told her that i discover i actually don have the talent for it..But she says if i don have talent, i wont even pass my exams before grade 8. i told her its the hard work i put in that makes me pass but i have put in even more effort now to practise my grade 8 but its progress is very very slow... To compensate for wkend loss of time, i played 4hrs today. But she says, 'u play so long but if u nv concentrate, also no use' To be frank, this actually hurt me... but she later says, 'as long as u try ur best and if u still fail, at least there is no regrets.' ok, at least this calms me down a bit...

People of my age are having bgr problems but i am having boy-piano-relationship(bpr) problems... maybe piano has really become my gf.. haha... i am weird... i shldnt think so much... gonna go for a jog now...

bought an iphone 4... about 500 dollars... haha... spend my pay for iphone... actually, i don need to buy iphone de cos my mum say she will give me her iphone 3gs since she don really know how to use and there is an extra blackberry at home... so initial plan is to let her use blackberry and i use iphone... BUT!!! blackberry do not have chinese language settings... omg!! so she don want and i got to buy myself... arghhh... a hole in my pocket liao...

Today is marking day... mark my student/cousin homework... haiz.. i still got to practise piano but today i simply don feel like learning... too tired liao.. went to see doctor again becos of my sensitive eyes... hope can faster recover... earn money to spend on visiting the doctor... LOL...

Anw, i received a shocking and super bad news yst... that person really treat me well and help me a lot... haiz....unexpectedly...i shld treasure everyday and everyone who treat me well more..haiz... thinking about it makes me sad...

Yesterday was the day I ORD.... Finally!! my next phase of my life is starting.. with ambivalence... my uni stuff is still not settled yet....i am afraid... i am not confident enough... i have come out with 2 plan...

Plan 1 = i accept the course in material engineering and do well in yr 1 and change to chem engineering in NTU in yr 2.... Risk: 80% Outcome: chem engineering has good career prospect and if i can get in, it will be excellent. Plus most of my friends are in NTU.

Plan 2 = i accept the course in material engineering and reapply to NUS faculty of Science and get into chemistry. Risk: 20% Outcome: Chemistry is not as good as chem engineering! Not a lot of friends in NUS...

P.S In the first place, i do not even know whether i can accept the course in feb and reapply in march or not... if not successful, my accepted course will be gone?

Besides uni stuff, i still haven find a proper job yet... i am gonna teach my cousin sec 4 a math... any of you can recommend me some good assessment book?

I am back from kukup!!! yah i went there for the second time! Food and fishing was the only key thing this time becos the karaoke system was too sucky... lol they actually expected us to put cd in to sing.. omg!! and the mic is not good too.. haha... but the food is nice, the scenery is good and this time round, there is no black out! Anw, last fri, finally met up with dt, yw and xy!!! It was a belated belated birthday celebration for xy and dt!! Went to playnation for the first time! it was fun!!!!! =D hope to see them more!! we are just too busy le! haha!!! =D

I am back from SFT!!! i survived although i am sick on the second day... flu and sore throat on second day... it is tough to survive outfield when u keep on sneezing the whole day... totally don feel like doing anything... BUT I SURVIVED!!! third day, felt a bit feverish liao but nvm, going home today le!! However, unexpectedly, they do de-brief for so long.. waited waited and waited.... temperature is rising!!! BUT i am forgiving and glad that it is over... ORD is next!!!

I completed 21km during army half marathon!!! i never give up!!! and thus, i cannot walk properly now liao... MC two days... LOL.. i donno what was pushing me when i have so many thoughts of giving up during the run! maybe it is the off given below 2hr 45mins or maybe i just want to complete the run... my brother told me just to walk the 21km, my mother told me not to force myself during the run.. i think it is my personality bah.. when i was doing something, i will always try my best.. this personality is definitely a double-edged sword!! haha... hope my leg faster recover... still a bit pain now...

Anyway,i just checked online for my piano exam results.. LOL... i got 100/150!! and the passing mark is 100!!! zhun zhun!!!!! passed!!! i think the examiner is too good liao!! give water!!! haha!!! awaiting for the exam results to be sent to my house.. i want to see what she wrote...

I need to run 21km for ahm.

I need to take piano exam this september.
(I am forcing myself to learn 2 hrs everyday, i hate to use the word 'force' when it comes to piano, but this time round, i am really forcing myself. Army has made me go into a 'totally-no-mood-to-practise' mode. Although can everyday come home, but it is hard to get myself play the piano. Too tired le)

I still need to serve another 6 months of ns....

I need to overcome this, especially the piano exam...

Piano is meant for one to play and not practise...

A tiring but fun day... We went k box at marina, play mahjong at dt house, dinner at causeway point ajisen and play monopoly deal at causeway point...

K box- 11am to 2pm.. Thanks dt for the treat! Thanks yw and xy for the present! Quite suitable for me... but need to test it out when my leg fully recover...but who draw the mickey mouse?? quite nice!! =D

Mahjong- we took quite a long bus ride to dt house... played mahjong as usual without money... =D

ajisen- met up with beatrice for dinner... she is still very humorous... ^^chit chat^^

monopoly- lol we sit at stairs to play monopoly deal... quite a fun game but everyone is too serious in winning liao... haha...

Just came back from outfield on fri... although its onli 2 days 1 night, its quite tough cos that means they squeeze everything together... the weather is unbearable, so hot that quite a few gt heat exhaustion... but, at least i survived this very first outfield trip!! =D

Today, after army cny celebration, we went to sng birthday party... 10 dollars club at chinatown smith street is quite a good place to sing... as the name stated its 10 dollars per pax only...and the songs is quite updated oso... the only problem is it is far from my home... haha...

After that, we took bus 61 back to bukit timah to eat indian food... haha... the bus ride was long but it was worth while since the food is quite nice.... but it may be a bit too spicy for me... However, overall i did enjoy them...

tml is the 31st... the last day of this year.... actually it was supposed to be a special day for me... but now it wasn't... if i am not sick for so long, maybe i would have performed for the countdown concert... if you guys have been listening to 933, you would find chong qing saying he would go perform at hong kah north cc tml to sing 2 hokkien song... that is the performance i am talking about... besides chong qing, diya will be there too... if i could go for more practice, i could really perform with them... but now, i know i cant.... having missed 2 months of practices.... i just couldnt join in like that................

I am back from genting... and i would guess this trip is rather nostalgic... haha... i guess its quite weird for ppl to travel to foreign country and u feel nostalgic... but i do... nothing much changes in genting... just that i realised more and more couples decided to go genting liao... or maybe they are always there but i just realised it on this trip... maybe is becos no one really accompany me bah so a bit lonely... i maybe going with my big big family but when they go to casino, i cant go in and i cant go walk around my own although i am pretty sure that i wont get lost... i can say that i am more familiar with genting than orchard road lor... But my mum just don allow me to go alone... so i gt to go with my auntie, uncle and young cousins....Well, i don blame my mum since i know she is always so worried about me...

So, we watched 2 movies, avatar and bodyguard assassins... avatar is nice... although initially i don feel like watching it becos it is like cartoon.... but its not... it is much nicer than i expected... then, bodyguard assassins i think is so-so only but maybe i watch in midnight so maybe too tired to watch already...

We also sang in those mini k-box... haha... Just realised that my aunties love singing also... maybe we can sing in singapore k box with more songs and better mic...

Then, we also went shopping and eating as usual.... found a good place to eat... its called restoran genting palace.... yup their restoran is spelled like that...

And the bus we sit is quite nice... there's personal tv for us to watch..watched jay chou dvd concert..LOL.... and the seat is quite comfortable....and there is massage chairs on the lower deck... =D

Lastly, a lesson learnt from my cousin's incident- remember to update ur photo before going to malaysia...i don want to post the whole incident here since its a bit political... but those who want to know y, can ask me personally...

Morning wake up go to ah gong hse take badminton net and racket although its raining... then, went back home, suddenly gt flu... watch anime a while den go to driving lesson... haha having a flu and driving is a challenge to mi.. =D but i managed it... den halfway when driving, i noticed the rain stops.. :) yeah, so i tot can play badminton liao... its hard to organise stuff when everyone gt their own things to do... haha... but i wont give up.... maybe weekly meeting is quite a hard objective to accomplish... so y not every 2 wks den meet??? now gt 3 timing: either this sat night or next fri afternoon or morning or next sat (time to be decided again)... swiss clique start voting!!! LOL...oh by the way, the upcoming meeting is badminton or any better suggestions...

yst chiong 2 driving lessons... but i seems to enjoy driving.. my instructor tell mi don drive too fast... lol when i have onli 3 lessons my speed reach 80km/hr... hahahaha....but the half clutch technique in circuit is hard.... need to turn super a lot... haha... but hope gt more slots...

yst went for cohesion... sentosa play beach soccer, netball, frisbies... after that actually a bit tired liao... den went to sakae to eat the buffet... eat until super full... haha... den around 6pm liao, den go mount faber de safra play pool... most of them stayed at the bowling alley.. after this is the main night activity, went clarke quay to play something like amazing race..split into 2 groups: doraemon and spongebob squarepants.so if u see someone carrying the doraemon flag around yst at clarke quay...that's my team.. haha....initially, gt 36 checkpoints... but in the end due to time constraint, we didnt get to play all... after the whole thing is around 3am liao... we won the race... :)haha... loser gt to eat wasabi sushi.. =D ok den after 3am, we tot will need to walk to geylang to eat durian but in the end, nv go cos we really too shag liao... ok so we slept at the last checkpoint in fort canning park for about 1-2hrs.. den go to east coast...eat mcdonalds... den "last route march" to graduation point... i think about 5-6km... super shag liao...haha... but we get to know ppl true nature when they are tired... =D

Finally reached graduation point.... and there we announced who will go where... and i went sembawang... Unbelievable... i tot i will stay at jurong... arghhh... tired.. sianed.. disappointed.. suayed.. and i gt to start everything new at sembawang again.... haha... looks like my optimism had dropped like hell... maybe i am too tired liao... :(

Went for CO practice again... i seem to have a special kind of bond with matsuri... be4 i leave PJCO, this is the song i played... and this is the last song for the countdown concert which means this is also the last song i played be4 i enter into 2010... quite unbelievable....haha.... going to buy a C diao dizi from the CO conductor.... and next wk i will receive it... there goes my another $60.... haha.... qian bu gou yong lah!!!!!

oh yah, i forgot to blog about my phone last wk... i just bought nokia E71, a weekend phone for mi since it gt camera... i bought it for investment lah... haha... its $248 with 2 year plan... and since i gt $100 voucher and i can trade in my Nokia N73 music edition for $100... i fork out onli $48... and in 2 years time, i think i still can trade in for at least $100... which means i earn $52... LOL....

Went for CO practice today and just realised that i will be involved in the dec 31st countdown concert... omg... and we need to practise like 30 songs including hokkien cantonese and chinese songs.... chong qing and diya is coming oso... after that, at night went to watch transformers.. not bad leh... graphic and effect is good!! not much of storyline though... haha... some parts funny... =D overall, 4.3/5 bah....

Today is a SUPER busy day!! first wake up at around 10 plus... den watch wang pai da ming xing... until about 1200 den take my army uniform to go and sew my formation badge....

Den straight away went to boon lay to meet dt and wa... den we jalan jalan at jp... until about 1345 den we go jurong safra to meet choon yik for K BOX SESSION!!! haha.... long time nv sing with dt and wa and choon yik liao....... its fun as usual... haha.... strongly recommend ppl to go jurong safra... high tech there.... and there are games too...=D FUN is the onli word i can describe... HAHA...

We sang until 7pm and after that i went back home for dinner... den come out again for CO concert at hong kah CC.... actually i can perform in there but i don want... i need more time to merge with the orchestra... HAHA... december 31st bah... i will be able to perform by den liao....

I just realised that i am even more busy during the weekends as compared to weekdays... haha... =D

bz day today... went to take BTT evaluation test in the morning... it wasnt as easy as i tot... but i still passed 65/70... =D

After that, went home rest for a while and around 1.15pm left home for party world.... Well, get to sing quite a lot although gt sorethroat... haha sry for making everyone suffer from my lousy voice... but lucky gt strepsils to alleviate the pain... haha.... In a nutshell, enjoyed myself despite the 20 plus dollars... LOL... den went to 'eat' in pastamania... notice the 'eat' cos i didnt eat anything there becos there is a buffet at my grandpa hse to celebrate father's day which is tot to be on this wk by our family... haha.. so i go off first with sihui since she is also going for dinner with her family... sry for leaving early....and lastly but the most impt thing is HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY JAC!!! haha.....^_^

I am a failure... i cant get rid of my nervousness when i reach CGH... the moment the doctor measure my blood pressure, my heart beat like donno what and i feel sick donno for what..... i can even feel how fast it beat....... arghhhh....maybe this is becos i have a bad experience going to CGH bah....haiz..... so i need to go back again and do the abp test... which is to borrow a device to attach to my hand for 24 hrs to measure my blood pressure..... :( I am really a loser lah....
